The first three days guide you in to the foundations of Heartworks Lomi Lomi, a beautiful & potent transmission of heart centred energy, that is deeply nourishing & detoxifying. Using rhythmical hands, breath, energy, flow & presence to facilitate a deep state of calm & relaxation for both the Giver & Receiver.
Throughout these foundational days, we will return to simplicity, ground & nourish the body, opening to hear the voice of the heart as we discover how to both give & RECEIVE a profound depth of touch.

On the fourth day, you INTEGRATE & REST, an amazing opportunity to swim in the healing waters of Straddie, take a long
walk along the beaches & headlands, take rest, practice what you have learnt & just chill out.
The next three days we begin to take the bodywork deeper into the full practice of Heartworks Lomi Lomi - Level 2.

Sharing their wisdom in a spacious & cultivated way that reflects their passion for the work.
They offer knowledge in a way that is integral to their unique perspectives
while honouring the source & sacred nature of the transmission of this powerful work.
Between them, they have explored multiple approaches to embodied practice & touch based therapies
& weave ancient wisdoms with present evolutionary experience to support the teaching container.
They are playful, lighthearted beings who like to mix things up a bit & get the spirit flowing...
Kate is our beloved Culinary Queen & Supporter, who has been with us on trainings
& retreats since somewhere in the mid 2010's, bringing her all round epic-ness to our bellies.
She completed her 1 & 2 Lomi Lomi with us in 2017 & brings a wealth of her own personal experience & wisdom.

Do you offer Refunds or Transfers of payment for your Trainings?We are a small business & provide intimate trainings to support personalised engagement with each person. Due to the nature of our venue, numbers, administration & facilitation costs our Cancellation/Refund policy is: * Your deposit of $500 is non-refundable. * If you cancel outside of one month from the commencement of the training, you are eligible to receive refund of your payment except for the deposit. * If you cancel within one month of the training commencement, your Full Payment unfortunately cannot be transferred or refunded. * We cannot transfer your placement or payments to a future training or retreat. Is Heartworks Lomi Lomi different to Swedish or Remedial Massage?YESsssssssss, very different. Lomi Lomi is held within a healing container of Aloha, loving intent. Every touch is infused with presence, love, connection & care. The flowing practice of Lomi moves deeper than just the layers of the physical & can support profound shifts & transformation within the body, heart, nervous system, mind & emotions.

If I have done Lomi Lomi Level 1 already, can I still come along?Yes, every training is different & so will be your experience :) Diving in again allows greater depth of your own practice & sharing of the work. If you have trained with us before we are happy to apply a discount to your investment, so please connect for a chat.

What are the benefits of learning Lomi Lomi in a Residential format?Immersive Container, Depth, Process, Journey, Integration & Healing..... There is no substitute for being completely immersed within this sacred practice in a Residential Retreat format. We go SO much deeper within many layers of practice, refinement, elemental cleansing, healing processes & have space to completely drop in to absolute presence with Self & each other!! You don't need to go home & cook dinner, look after the kids, wash the clothes & do all the things. The week is about reconnecting with your heart, body & spirit within a rich program of self discovery. & to be honest, for us, there is only so much we can share & facilitate in a non-residential format, generally the focus is purely on the sharing of techniques & some other key fundamentals of Hawaiian philosophy.

Why Train with us?We bring a depth of practice, wisdom & experienced facilitation from four decades of combined practice. The container we hold supports Integrated Embodiment of this work, whilst simultaneously allowing expansive space for your own healing journey. We have no interest in churning out Lomi Lomi students, however, we are passionate in the support of our students to feel sustained, nourished & empowered within themselves & as bodyworkers. We choose to run our trainings within an intimate group format so that there is space, time & personal attention for each individuals gifts to flourish & ground within the heart & body.

Can I offer Lomi Lomi treatments immediately following the retreat?Yes, you are now a Certified Heartworks Lomi Lomi Practitioner, yay !! If you would like to practice professionally, then you will need to get all of your Insurance & Memberships organised with the Certification & Transcripts we provide. We chat about all aspects of practice throughout the week together.

Is Lomi Lomi normally taught as Level 1 & 2?No. We choose to deep dive with these two levels over eight days as a Residential Retreat to support the work to integrate & embody. This is a specialised Retreat Immersion within a potent facilitation container. Our Trainings are for those who desire a cultivated & embodied proficiency within the bodywork whilst reconnecting to oneself within this transformational process. Your investment reflects every aspect of this specialty Training Retreat.
